Our Story

The first Handy Pantry Friendly Food Store opened in 1976 in Nesconset, New York. Over the past 47 years this family owned and operated business has grown to 11 locations serving the Suffolk County community. Our stores offer a high level of customer service, and help you avoid the long lines at the supermarket. Our Deli department offers Boar’s Head meats & cheeses, freshly prepared salads, and made-to-order meals and snacks. We brew fresh coffees and teas all day at our Coffee & Tea bar. Handy Pantry also offers fresh fruits and vegetables, a full line of dairy products, groceries, frozen foods, bakery foods, beer, and more.
